“Somewhere between the wound and the weapon, you’ll find me.”
Arlando Mba
The Femme Fatale of Alt Pop
Arlando Mba is the femme fatale of alt-pop—cinematic, confessional, and emotionally raw. Raised just outside Los Angeles, she writes genre-blending songs that explore grief, desire, identity, and emotional unraveling. With roots in piano, theatre, and choir, and a background in film and English, her music pulls from alternative rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B, orchestral elements, and dance.
Her upcoming debut single, “Out of My Head,” captures the haunting pull of toxic desire, blending lush strings with gritty beats and vulnerability. Arlando creates for the lovers, the rebels, and the emotional shapeshifters—the ones who feel too much and love too hard who live like a scene in a film and feel like a contradiction.
